FEES EXIST FOR IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICES. A SLIDING FEE SCHEDULE AND A FEE WAIVER ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST FOR THOSE WHO QUALIFY. All case consultations and questions regarding the immigration legal system are $40, but require an appointment.
We assist with: official USCIS/ICE/National Visa Center changes of address, renewing/replacing lawful permanent residency cards, adjustments of status, employment authorization, DACA renewals, applications for citizenship, interview representation, Request for Evidence document preparation, replacing naturalization certifications, and certificates of citizenship.
Multicultural Coalition does not take employment-based immigration cases. Most employers utilizing the immigration system usually contract with an immigration law firm, so you should contact your employer first. For a referral to employment immigration attorney, please call our office.
Nebraska Immigration Legal Assistance Hotline
NILAH provides a centralized hotline and resources for low-income immigration legal assistance beyond those that Multicultural Coalition can provide. Those in need of immigration legal assistance can contact NILAH in order to be connected to the non-profit immigration legal service provider that can best meet their needs, in the shortest amount of time. NILAH paralegals take the calls, complete the confidential intake screening forms, and refer people to the right organization in their area. The NILAH paralegals even have the ability to speak to callers in their native languages.
